Well, again, like I have said before, my current rig is down, so I'll probably keep this one as it is for now.
This will remain unsolved, and I will continue to post updates on my BSODs.

Thanks!

Another BSOD :P

1. Microsoft Windows message box again.
Code:
Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:	BlueScreen
  OS Version:	6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.2
  Locale ID:	1033

Additional information about the problem:
  BCCode:	1000008e
  BCP1:	C0000005
  BCP2:	91860B82
  BCP3:	A5D34AE0
  BCP4:	00000000
  OS Version:	6_0_6000
  Service Pack:	0_0
  Product:	768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
  C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini101912-01.dmp
  C:\Users\Trolldad\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-71183-0.sysdata.xml
  C:\Users\Trolldad\AppData\Local\Temp\WER6C97.tmp.version.txt
2. Files from the above message are attached. Like the last time (but not the first 2 times), the 2 files in the TEMP folder are NOT there. (And I finally realized that the 7Forums Diagnostic Tool attaches the Minidump files, so I don't need to manually attach em now

3. SevenForums diagnostic tool files are zipped and attached.

@Tom
I tried extracting the Vista files from the install DVD by following Extract Files from Vista Installation DVD - Vista Forums, but it didn't work. I did a SFC scan after that, and it still came back as corrupted and it couldn't repair the file.

Did a full scan with Microsoft Security Essentials. Completely clean.

Hey!
Looks like nobody's been reading this

Well, I found out what was causing my computer to not boot properly. I discovered that if my TV (connected via VGA) was turned on, the computer would not even boot to the BIOS. There would be no hard drive activity (I can tell by a light). However, if the TV is off, it boots

Now, I tried again to install SP1, but it completed INSTANTLY. I uploaded the CBS logs. Can somebody please help me? This has been an ongoing problem for a few months now.

Thanks!

Hi Justin,

Sorry for the delay. I transferred to another degree last week and I'm playing catch up now.

Your CheckSUR and CBS logs are clean. Could you post your Windows Update log please?

Hi Justin,

Is SP1 still showing as installed? Open command prompt and type: winver and press enter. Second row down, what does it say?

Thanks for looking at it.
In the Windows Update log, it says that Service Pack 1 is SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED, but when I re-check for updates, it's there again
