    Just finished Security Essentials scan, no viruses found. Downloading and running the other one.

    BTW I hope the Crashing is fixed, this computer has been on for atleast 4 hours and counting

    How often was it turning off/crashing earlier? You'll need to observe for few more days/weeks before you're sure that the problems are gone forever.

    It's about every 5-60 minutes. Sometimes it will be more than that but not very often.
