BSOD using Adobe Photoshop or Premiere Win 7 64bit AMD Phenom II

Hi,

I've recently installed Windows 7 64bit Home Premium on my PC so that I can use Adobe Premiere. Prior to this I had Win 7 Pro 32bit. So I bought a new hard drive and installed 64 bit windows. So it's a clean install.

However I've been getting BSOD with the error quite often since then. I seems to be whenever the PC is pushed - such as doing lots of edits in Photoshop (using the clone tool) or processing a large video in Adobe Premiere.

The error I usually get is this:

"A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time internal."
"Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x000000101 (0x000000000000000031, 0x0000000000000000, 0XFFFFFF880009E9180, 0x00000000000000001)"

I've tried working through the steps on this wiki, which hasn't helped unfortunately. I've also taken the PC apart and checked the connections between devices and they all seem ok.

I'm hoping someone can help analyse the crash dump and hopefully give me a clue as to where the problem may lie.

Crash dump is attached, and specs for my PC are below.

AMD Phenom II x4 965 - 3400 MHZ
BIOS v.2206
Date: 22/07/2010
Graphics card: NVIDIA GTS450 with 1024 GDDR5
Motherboard: Asus M4A785T-M

Much appreciate anyone's help!

Thanks

If you could, can you fill in your system specs as best you can in the user profile area. It has a more detailed list for the hardware.

How much RAM do you have installed? What are the minimum requirements for running Adobe Premier?

What I've found and this is for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 that the minimum RAM requirements is 4 GB but the recommend is 8 GB. Have a look here...

Hi I have 8gb RAM. I've ran extended men test several times and not found any issues. The bsod happens frequently even when i use adobe photoshop 64bit so it's not just limited to premiere.

Prior to installing windows 7 64bit and adobe cs6 photoshop 64bit I have been running win 7 32bit and adobe cs5 photoshop 32bit without any issues for many months.

Hi,

Sorry for not uploading the correct crash dump files. I've done that now using SF Diagnostic Tool.

Really would appreciate some help as I'm getting BSOD everytime I'm editing pictures in Adobe Photoshop CS5

Thanks,

Asif

This has been resolved. I uninstalled Adobe CS5 and installed CS4 instead.
Have been using CS4 for about 3 days now without any BSOD.
