After clean install and updating drivers? Still getting BSOD's? Sounds like a hardware problem. Most likely a mobo problem.

Yeah, the attached file was from BSOD AFTER a clean install. Fresh drivers installed from ASUS website/ATI (video card).

Software installed - MSE, all Windows updates. Drivers installed so far - Network, Video, and USB, using downloaded software from ASUS and Device Manager. Software installed - Zip - 7zip; PDF - Foxit reader; photo viewers - Irfanview & viewerN5; printer - Epson Artisan 837, networked; audio - Foobar2000, Winamp; video - Zoom player free; OpenOffice; Chrome and Firefox; Burnware - AnyDVD, CloneDVD, and ImgBurn.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Not my only computer but is the coveted one, due to screen size.

Did you build this system? Check your BIOS CPU & RAM Timings, Volts etc, Make sure they are correct!!

Did any BSOD occur when you had the memory in slots 1&3 or only after you switched to slots 2&4

11 passes on slots 1&3, with no errors. Switching to 2&4 and letting it run all day/night as well to see. Will report findings tomorrow.

Attached is requested file. To date, memtest has only been used on slots 1&3, with no problems (recommended slots). Should I also try running on 2&4, just to see?

I built this system, yes. All CPU timings and RAM timing/voltages are per the manufacturer.

Have not switched them to 2&4, as I had no problems in 1&3 after 11 passes. Did not want to change memory slots as there were no problems and did not want to introduce another variable.

Thanks for clarifying, I wasn't sure. So 1&3 passed memtest and you still had BSOD. I'll step back and let marsmimar or other member direct you on switching mem to slots 2&4. Too many cooks and all that, eh wot!

Yes, passed 1&3, no problems after 11 passes. I appreciate all the input, regardless, as this has been rather frustrating! Not my first computer built from the ground up but the 1st one with so many problems little more than a year after build.

One quick question with updates - do not have a RAID setup (everything gets dumped elsewhere for backup). Should I install the JMB36X controller updates? Also, running IDE - switch to AHCI?

Only asking because these are updates I have not installed and though I would not expect any interference either way, I am not the expert. :-)

Thanks in advance!

You may have already run some analysis software on your machine, here are two that might provide more inside information.
