HP8530p Regular BSOD 0x9f Driver Power State Failure

I have a HP8530P with Windows 7 professional 32bit that regularly gives a BSOD.
When I analyze the dump file it says Driver Power State Failure and that something is wrong with the usbhub.sys.

I reinstalled the chipset drivers and all other drivers to be on the safe side. But it did not help.
I then reinstalled Windows but the problem just came back.

Does anyone have an idea to what could be the cause?

I put the dump file in this zip file (The SF diagnostic tool mentioned here does not work on my computer)

Do you have a card reader or card reader plus USB network adapter connected there?

The dump showed a symbol error there, so I could not see it properly, but I can say you that if what I am saying id true, check the card, what it contains.

Update the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet driver: from Ethernet NIC Driver Downloads | Broadcom.

Disable USB selective suspense: USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

Check for any rootkit: Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller

If it is a card reader only, remove it. If it is a card reader plus network adapter, remove the memory chip from it.

Let us know the results.

Thanx for the response.
There was no rootkit found. I updated the drivers. I disabled usb selective supsense but to that can't be a permanent solution since this will decrease battery life.
So far no more problems but it's too soon to tell for sure.
I forgot to mention that, when the laptop is in the docking station there are no problems whatsoever.
I also found something about a power IRP that's being blocked but I don't really know what that means.

It is an I/O request packet (IRP) that is blocked. So it is failing to deal with some device object. And that is causing the crashes. For your situation, it is related to USB devices.
