BSOD on startup - Acer Aspire One

I have frequent problems with BSOD on startup with an Acer Aspire One D270. I can get windows to start in safe mode after BSOD and can get it to start normally by connecting it to a TV screen through hdmi, then it works normally for a while. I have tried reinstalling windows through the restore system during startup several times, which gets everything running normally for a week or so, but the problem always comes back. I suspect it is video/graphics related.

After the problem occurred several times I tried installing ubuntu (dual boot) which works fine but with an error message after starting.

Please upload your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

The antivirus you are currently using is known and contributing to your BSOD crashes, consider uninstalling it with the McAfee Removal Tool and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test.BTW, I already see that MSE is installed on this computer and having two antiviruses on a system would cause conflicts anyway.

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:- Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.
