It certainly not get hot though. With all the abuse I put my rig through, RAM is barely warm to the touch. Even the hard core gamers here report RAM doesn't get hot.

If the GSkill RAM is on a QVL they guarantee it to work.
Yeah, that is why it was so odd that the crucial heated up so quickly, I have never had my kingston get hot, not even noticeably warm.

Can you also tell me when you purchased the wireless PCI adapter for your computer? Check if the router is flaky or having any other problem (it could not be directly connected to the desktop as well)

wireless router was purchased less than a month ago when I upgraded my internet, the wireless card was purchased a couple days before that. Was working perfect until I did the fresh install of windows. It works fine, Just really slow to gain connection after I wake my computer from sleep, which is odd.
And both router and adapter are the same brand

and I have been told to try slowing down my ram, but I am not sure of why after 3 years of it being at that speed with no problems, then all of the sudden, so I have not done that, I am boxing up this crucial to send it back, and getting some ram from the QVL.
I have not gotten a response on my thread over in the networking section either

The only other computers are laptops I am boxing up and sending back the crucial tomorrow to get a refund, then getting some g-skil, that has to be the problem. I am running my monitor as my primary display, and netflix on my 32" tv and have not had a problem. So there is nothing else that it could be, besides the ram.
So the g-skill should fix it.
We can hope, Right?

I still have not fixed the internet thing, I should just gain some patience and wait the minute for it connect.

Well, I uninstalled the drivers for the wireless adapter, updated the PCI divers on my computer, and reinstalled the newest version of the adapter drivers, and it seemed to help a bit on connection time.

Well, I am even more solidified that it is my ram, New video card, and it did itwith the old video card, but I set up my TV to be used as a second display for watching netflix. and while watching netflix, and browsing the internet, which is graphic and ram intensive, I have gotten 3 bsod's today, all the same 3b error code. and since its not the video card, only thing it can be.

That was one of the earlier things that I had tried, and it actually gave me more bsod's than before the hotfix, so I uninstalled it soon I will be refunded for that ram, and i can order some new stuff
