    always BSOD in normal boot

    Hello and good day,
my friends pc got this bsod crash everytime it boots. also the screen is filled with green thing all over, green lines (artifacts?)
    ive tried;
    1. reinstalled drivers (graphics & network),
    2. reinstalled OS (win7 ultimate sp1),
    3. reset CMOS (reseat battery)
    but still the same.
it can only boot in safe mode, with or without network.

    Please advise.

Is the Green artifacts during safemode or normal boot attempt?

I haven't looked at the logs yet, but I think it might be the GPU going out.

    Hello,

Some programs I have noticed that should be removed:

    Code:
    DAEMON Tools Lite	"c:\program files\daemon tools lite\dtlite.exe" -autorun	Payeh-PC\Payeh	HKU\S-1-5-21-3571652378-2635693546-4088263291-1000\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
DT Have been well known to cause problems such as BSODs. So please remove.

    Code:
Security Processor Loader Driver	ROOT\LEGACY_SPLDR\0000	This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
Make sure you have your Anti-Virus properlly installed aswell. I suggest Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

    Code:
    Probably caused by : atikmpag.sys ( atikmpag+786e )

    VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE (116)

    DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: GRAPHICS_DRIVER_TDR_FAULT
It seems to be blaming your video driver. I know this may sound weird, but although your video drivers are up to date, try installing an older version.

After doing this, please post back results.

This could be something simple as physically cleaning your computer of dust. The Green artifacts are normally caused by a bad GPU, Overheated GPU, or a bad graphics cable connecting your Graphics card to your monitor.

That is also true. Good advice.

I have seen this issue arise from time to time ever since the old SVGA 286 days, usually just cooling the GPU or even cleaning the caked on dust off of the fan and heatsink fixes it, if it is fixable.
