Good point.
Code:
Name [00000007] Intel(R) 82567V-2 Gigabit Network Connection
Driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\e1y62x64.sys (10.0.6.0, 281.21 KB (287,960 bytes), 3/16/2010 1:07 PM)
See how old the driver is. Try to get an update from Intel® 82567 Gigabit Ethernet Controller — Support for Intel® 82567 LM / LF / V Gigabit Network Connections.

Updated driver. Download speeds (via speakeasy's speed test) are now 1/10 of what they were before . Upload speeds are blazing fast.

Edit: made a few Power Management changes, specifically deselected the "Reduce link speed to save power" and the speeds are back to normal

OMG!!
Try a physical download to check it? Any small file, say Speccy?
If you dont have it, it is a must have app.

Since we've started messing around, my computer will no longer sleep. When I put the computer to sleep, it immediately comes back out of sleep mode. Any thoughts?

Edit: Made some power management changes to the network adapter. Seems to be sleeping again.

Change the power option setting, back them to default and see?

BTW, how is it working now?

I've been out of town for 5 days and I won't be home until tomorrow. We'll see how it's doing then.

As per the data you supplied, the lase BSOD occurred at 19/11/2012, 9:42 AM. So what you have got today is not a BSOD, but any other random shutdown.

Can you describe the situation when it happened?

It happened the same way that's been plaguing me for over a year now... I was browsing the internet reading a webpage and "poof" the computer is rebooting. No shutdown, no beeps just webpage one second and bios the next :-(. It has happened during all sorts of different tasks like web browsing, working on Word or Excel files or doing just about any other task large or small.

No shutdown, no beeps just an internet page one second and the bios the next :-( In the past it has happened on web pages, working on Word or Excel files or doing just about every task I can think of, both large and small. I can't seem to find a pattern to any of it.
