Did you test that stick on another slot and seen if it produces errors?
Since you've already had experience with the MB I would get around
making sure its the MB at fault - not the rest of the hardware...
Can you test this ram on another computer as well?
If it turns out the RAM`s faulty, you'll have to get new RAM for sure.
I don't have another PC to test the ram in, but before i RMA'd the motherboard last time, i remember it was a lot more stable with only 4 gigs of ram in, but at the time, all the crashes i got weren't bluescreens, it was always just a freeze, this time it's bluescreens. I've also noticed recently that it crashes when doing some GPU intensive things. Foe example, my brother was playing Minecraft, and, being a largely CPU intensive game, ran fine, until he tried to enable some shader and OpenGL settings, which is when it crashed, it might just be a coincidence, but it also happens sometimes in other games. The majority of the time though, it's when the PC is idle that it crahses. Also in the games, the stop message is largely an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL sort of message, never the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION message, so i'm guessing this problem is unrelated.
I'll take out the ram and try only one stick in one of the other three slots, and run memtest on them, i'll report back when that's done.
EDIT:If all the errors were found at pass number three, can i safely assume that if there are no errors past number three, the stick is clean?

Sorry for double posting...
I ran memtest most of the day on one stick, after eight passes, eveything's clear, so i take out the stick, put the other one in, and the PC dosen't even boot, no POST, no beeps, all the fans are spinning, i can hear the drives spin up, but other than that, it just sits and hums quietly to itself. This is interesting, being the second set of RAM this model motherboard has cooked, and it's not even the same motherboard from the first time, I'm decently sure its a totally different board. This is also a different brand ram from last time. I guess i'll RMA the ram, and figure out the funds to buy a new motherboard, even then, if it runs smoothly with only one stick of ram, i should be fine,
hopefully...
Anyway, this page describes the behavior of the board when it freezes and crashes. The thing is that i would be careful in saying that the motherboard is just a bad model. It probably wouldn't sell if it were, but the fact that i have had the same problems two different times with the same model motherboard makes me doubt that...
Any memtest errors at any time are bad. It maens the RAM is not returing the values being written to it.
Make sure the DIMs are fully seated and locked in. Adjust your RAM settings in BIOS as per the label.

Ive tried the auto option and the settings listed on the RAM, to no avail
i tested them both at the same time for 8 passes, got errors, took the ram out, put one stick in, tested for eight passes, all clear, then i took that one out, put another one in, and the PC wouldn't POST. I tried it in each slot, same thing each time
It looks like it's not just in my motherboard, like i said, this happened to both incarnations of this board, but would a board with that bad of an architecture really get sold?
So, i'm now running on the one stick of ram that i determined to be error free, and i just got another bluescreen, but this one was different. instead of showing the blue screen with all the stuff on it, the display froze, it kind of buzzed, i'm guessing playing that instant in the video i was watching over and over, and then it rebooted. when it came back up it said windows had recovered from an error. I'm downloading winDBG, and i suppose i'll post the latest minidump here for you guys in a minute
