Giving a few different steps a try. MemTest found nothing wrong, so I am keeping a fan blowing on my tower to see what happens. I will update, many thanks.

Just had another crash, this one gave me the actual Blue Screen, not just telling me it experienced one.

Uninstall the following programs, they contribute in BSOD-s. Use the free version of Revo Uninstaller in Advanced Mode:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\AVG 2011	Public:Start Menu\Programs\AVG 2011	Public
Start Menu\Programs\DAEMON Tools Lite	Public:Start Menu\Programs\DAEMON Tools Lite	Public
    Start Menu\Programs\Sophos	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Sophos	Public
Start Menu\Programs\Sophos\Sophos Endpoint Security and Control	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Sophos\Sophos Endpoint Security and Control	Public
    Start Menu\Programs\Spybot - Search & Destroy	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Spybot - Search & Destroy	Public
    Daemon Tools

Please uninstall DAEMON Tools. It uses a driver called sptd.sys which is known to cause BSODs in Windows 7. Uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs. Reboot the system. Once the program is uninstalled, run sptd.sys uninstaller to remove the driver from your system.

As an alternative, many people recommend the use of Total Mounter or Magic ISO

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

    • Click on the
    • Type CMD on Search
    • Left click and Run as Administrator
    • Type SFC /scannow

    Full tutorial here:

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

Check for a newer BIOS version:
    Code:
    BIOS Version/Date	American Megatrends Inc. 0605, 9/21/2009
Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using crystal disk info and Summary tab using Speccy:

    Post back results.

Not for the last couple of days, actually. Thank you, I will post back if I get one again.

So it lasted a good deal longer than usual, but I had another crash while playing Portal 2. :/

    Thoughts?

EDIT: I ran the Intel Burn Test. While I passed, my core temperature made it up to 58 degrees. Could this be the culprit?
