How would you suggest I go about trying to install Security Essentials? It says I can't install it while in Safe Mode, but the computer crashes when I boot in normal mode
EDIT: I guess I'll run the MBAM Scan first, then go from there.

I finally completed a WDO scan in the early hours in the morning (Sorry that it took so long to do; it was a hassle getting another computer to make the WDO bootdisk).
It found that I have a the Alureon.a/DOS Trojan (Which is apparently a mean little guy too.) I've removed it with WDO, and I'm going to try and boot it normally (Then in safe mode) to make sure it's completely removed by following a guide on bleepingcomputer/major geeks unless someone here could walk me through the process.
The funny thing is that no other antivirus scanners of any sort had picked anything up until WDO ran its scan- Great program, I'll definitely use again.
Anyways, thanks for your help Arc, it has given me a great impression of the 7fourms, and I'll definitely come here with any other problems you guys have- cause you are all very professional about it.

The dumps is not showing anything, but I will suggest you to disable RAID, and then use msahci.sys.
- Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
- It will open the "computer management" window.
- Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
- Expand "Disc Drives" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
- Select one item under it, right click, uninstall.
- Continue the process for all items under "Disc Drives"
- Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate system driver, msahci.sys.
Also do some disc checks.
- Update your SSD's Firmware (skip this step, if it is not a SSD)
- Reseat the sata and power.
- Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
- Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

I'm thinking this might be a hard drive error, even though some chkdsk's i've done before returned with no problems.
I came to this conclusion because whenever I boot (on safe mode, that is.), a secondary partition of my main hard drive (there is only 1 hard drive, but 3 partitions on it) never shows up. I'm going to boot using a Hirens Boot CD 15 and run some different hard drive checkers on there.
Ooooh, update! Whilist writing this message, I got the laptop to successfully boot and it is currently running fine (will edit in if it BSOD's). I will definitly run some disk check things, and go from there. Any other suggestions on your part?
Btw; when I booted this time, TDSS instantly popped up with a message asking me to run (Before the desktop even loaded). Maybe this has something to do with it?
