BSOD with Carbonite running in background

Computer does an unexpected reboot (BSOD) about 10 minutes after startup when Carbonite is running in the background. Computer will also crash at the beginning of a Windows Update and may do a random crash after several hours when Carbonite is not running.
    Help!

You need to perform some disc maintenance.

    1. Update your SSD's Firmware (Skip it, if it is not a SSD)
    2. Re-seat the sata and power.
    3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
    4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

    Let us know the results.

Seatools test found no problems with harddrive

Seatools test did not find any errors with harddrive.
I ran the long test and Seatools followed up with the short test.
    Both passed.
I'm thinking maybe it's a driver issue. Memory tests have not found any problems either.

Just a tip Archie, the /r switch shouldn't be run on all occasions as it could render a machine unbootable, unless the state of the hard disk has been established beforehand :)
