after SSD drive installed, the sleep mode seems to trigger a BSOD

    Hi All,
I read several related posting and the problems seems to point to driver out-of-date. I went to Intel's site and ran their app and it said the drivers are current.
Here is the attached zip forlder with all the files generated by the SF Diagnostic Tool.
    Thanks for any information,
    Alf

    Welcome to SevenForums.

There's only one dump, which comes with bug check F4 - Hard drive/storage related.
    Code:

Update the SSDs firmware to its latest.
Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

    Start Menu\Programs\Avira	Public:Start Menu\Programs\Avira	Public

Please uninstall Avira and replace with MSE at least to test.

Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:-

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

    System Optimisers:

These programs are known cause of BSOD's. The windows 7 operating system does not require these registry cleaning software. They often tune-down rather than tune-up and can wreck the OS beyond repair. Microsoft have improved Windows 7 significantly and it is much better at organising and optimising itself than its predecessors. Check this, this and this thread for evidence.

If you feel the need to use a registry cleaning or optimisation software, most of us recommend the use of CCleaner but make sure you back up the registry before making letting ccleaner delete anything. You may make use of the great in-built Disk Cleanup and Extended Disk Cleanup if required to do so, regarding de-frag utilities, I recommend yet again the in-built Disk Defragmenter - Open and Use & Puran Defrag which is much reliable compared to others.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.

    Let us know the results.

    Hi KoolKat77,
I just wanted to say thank you very much for the excellent advise and for taking the time to look at my issues.
I did what you suggested and the problems are gone away.
Out of desperation, we tend to look online and download and install software to solve the issues, and in many cases make the problems worse. My laptop is old and it now runs great again.
I'm really thankful for all your great help,
    Alf

    Thanks for the update.

Observe your laptop for another week and let us know if there are any problems.

If not, you may mark the thread as solved :)

    Hello All,
The blue screens are back. I followed the steps to correct the problem and they seemed to work in fixing the issue. But now the blue screens are back. Whenever the computer goes into sleep mode and it comes back with the login screen, and then it gives me the blue screen, shows some errors, and ask for normal boot. Thanks in advance for your help.
    :)

    Hi KoolKat77,
Here is the compressed folder with all the collected files.
    I'm sure it's something stupid I'm doing.
Thanks for your patience and kindness,

    Hi KoolKat77,
My laptop suffers from copy and paste issues too. Not so long ago, the function stopped working or works randomly. And, now it's not paste-ing anything. Is the tool report written somewhere to attach it?
    Thanks,
    Alf
