Hardware BSOD - what's causing it?

A few weeks back I was suffering hardware BSODs ("an unrecoverable hardware error..."). I swapped from an ATi to an nVidia GPU and changed the PSU and it was OK for a while, but it's now happening again.

It doesn't seem to have any specific warning or cause normally, but wierdly, zipping up a folder with 7-zip always causes it to happen! This was particularly annoying because every time I zipped up the diagnostic files it crashed...

Anywho, I'd really like to know what component is causing it before I start randomly changing them. Thanks..

EDIT: Windows 7 x64.

Arc, thanks for looking into it. I've done a memtest for 10ish hours with no problems...and for some reason sp1 install always fails.

I guess AuthenticAMD means it's probably a motherboard/CPU issue? I sense a new CPU and MB in my near future...
