    BSOD when running Hulu

I don't know if I have done this right, so apologies as I'm new to this method.

This only happens occasionally but sometimes when I am streaming from Hulu, my laptop will give me a BSOD. Unfortunately it's only happened twice and both times I seem to have missed the error code as it restarts too, but it only ever happens on Hulu. I have followed the instructions that were asked by using the SF Diagnostic tool but am not sure whether I have done it properly so forgive me if there may be errors.

I was just curious whether this was a common issue or whether it could be a problem with my laptop.. however I've checked and all my drivers seem up to date.

    Welcome to SevenForums.

There are no dump files in the attachment, please follow this tutorial and set the system to collect small memory dumps.

A few things we can still recommend, please remove avast! antivirus and spybot S&D for troubleshooting purpose:

    Microsoft Security Essentials.

Recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other antiviruses/internet security software. It is free and lightweight:-
       Warning
Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

    Perform a System File Check:
    1. Click on the start
    2. Type CMD on Search
    3. Left click and Run as Administrator
    4. Type SFC /scannow

    Full tutorial here:

Disk Check on your hard drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

Reduce items at start-up. Nothing except anti-virus is required plus improves the time for logging in windows.

Run Hulu again to see if you get BSOD and upload fresh reports.

PS: We're at different time zones.
