BSOD and boot fails, usually gaming, Guild wars 2 or chrome usually

Hi, this would be probably my first ever post about an issue like this, so here goes:

I Get BSODs on a reasonably regular basis, and the nature of them seems to change often, here is the best info I can give: I started getting BSODs soon after transferring an old comp into a new case, and started over clocking it at around the same time. here are the most recent specs:
AMD Phenom 2 x6 1055t @3.7Ghz quad core
ASUS M5a88-m MoBo
Asus GTX 560 TOP 1GB
8gb Corsair vengeance RAM (recently RMA after extreme memtest failure, currently shows no faults after 2 passes)
Cit 700w PSU
Samsung 1TB hard drive

I RMAd the RAM that I had after it started crashing, failed a Memtest pass spectacularly
(8000 errors in half an hour!), and this seemed to alleviate the problem, until a fortnight or so later when I started getting them again. the only other cause I can think of (and I am a bit of a newb at this) is Razer Synapse, that seemed to make my Blackwidow ultimate act really weirdly when I used it , and I understand it a known BSOD causer. I have uninstalled it for now,and am running in safe mode, which seems to never crash. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Do some Disc Check:
  1. Update your SSD's Firmware (Skip it, if it is not a SSD)
  2. Reseat the sata and power.
  3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
  4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.
Let us know the results.

Sorry for late response, been really busy.

I actually haven't had any blue screens since uninstalling synapse, but I did a virus scan and updated my realtek driver just to be sure.
if I get anymore, i'll try all the other stuff you suggested, and if tat fails, i'll get back to you.
but until then, thanks a bunch, you've been really helpful
