| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 2,179 posts | I think the best you can do (after copying out your data) is to take inventory of the software you've got installed. Copying/pasting installed programs is not going to work, although you can copy "non-installed" type programs. I'm not sure of all the failure mechanisms for SSDs, but for HDDs I would copy critical data first. |
