BSOD After Unig External HDD, error 0x000000c5
Hi there,
So very recently, after using my external HDD my computer gets a BSOD within 10 - 20 minutes after I turn it off. It's happened about 3 times this past week, so I would like some expert opinions to help me fix this issue before it becomes more serious.
My Computers Specs:
HP Probook 4530s
OS: Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10 GHZ
RAM: 6GB
I've attached the minidump files, I ran Bluescreen view to try and get a better understanding of what might be the issue, and it says that the driver at fault is "halmacpi.dll"
I had a BSOD issue before where my computer wouldn't start, but it turned out I was running Avast which was causing the error so I removed it and the error resolved.
Currently I am running Comodo Fire Wall and Avira Anti Virus for my PC protection. Please let me know if one of these might be causing the issue.
Another random annoyance I have is after booting my system i get an error message stating :
"HPConnectionManager.exe - Fatal Error
A fatal error occured, check the HP Connection Manager in Event Viewer for more details.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I'm not really sure what this indicates, if anyone could clear that up that would be very helpful.
Lastly, and not really that important, but I've been having trouble getting my PDF Complete to actually print...if anyone could help with that you'd be my hero.
Any and all help is much appreciated, thanks!
