Is really needed a ScanDisk after BSOD?

I used to make a complete ScanDisk after every BSOD (luckily rare), but maybe is a little useless considering that windows clear all the memory cache before the auto-restart of the system.
    Am I right?

Yes you are right, but if you perform a scandisk, it is not any harmful at all.

Yes, I know, but it's annoying to waste a 10 and more minutes to make an useless thing.

Better you plan stopping those BSODs.

It happens rarely. Sometimes (not always) when I open a pdf file or a particular printer setting.
