Brand New Asus X53U Repeatedly Gets BSOD
Hey all,
So I just received a brand new Asus X53U laptop for my birthday (I finally was able to set up my laptop around the first of November). My brother has the same one but he got his a week earlier and it seems to be working just fine.
I however, am continually experiencing the dreaded BSOD. The first time I got it I just assumed it was a small issue that wasn't worth my attention, a very strange one and because I was in a rush, I didn't bother to figure out what was wrong. It was after I had installed programs like Google Chrome, iTunes, and Evernote which I knew were trusted programs that worked fine on my old laptop.
Following four more crashes, I'm not entirely sure what is causing this. It tends to happen after I don't use my laptop for long periods of time. If I put my laptop to sleep and then open it up a couple hours later it will also show up as a BSOD. I don't know what to do or how to fix this so some help would be greatly appreciated since this laptop is brand new. Earlier this morning I left my laptop open for about two hours and then when I came back the BSOD was there.
It's also been really slow (slower than my old laptop, which was an Acer Aspire 7535-5415 with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'm aware that this laptop was technically faster since its processor was better, but it's also three years old and seriously bogged down all of the stuff I have on it) and I'm not entirely sure as to why since this laptop is literally brand new.
I've also attached the .dump files.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
