BSOD Worker thread returned at bad IRQL

    Hey guys.

So yeah, I got a BSOD called: WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL

I've had this BSOD atleast 10 times in the last month or so, and I think it started when I installed CCleaner and left the checkbox of delete bad registry keys on. (not sure how it's called, but it delete registry items without a value, I guess)
I've used this program regularly on my old computers and it did his job without any problems.

    Extra info:
Laptop is almost 1 year old
    DELL XPS L702X
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
    Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2201 MHz, 4 cores, 8 logical processors
    8 GB of RAM

rest of info will be available in the .NFO file

NOTE: Most of the files are in Dutch, so I hope this won't be a problem. If so, I'll try and solve my problem on a Dutch support site.

    Thanks in advance!

Now I ran the verifier.exe which I found in another post which had a similar problem to mine and immediatly after rebooting I got a BSOD, a different one.

I don't know if this is a good sign or not.

I'll add the dumpfile to this post after I stopped the verifier.exe and rebooted my computer (I'm in safe mode atm)

    The .nfo file is corrupted.

Please upload your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

Please upload your msinfo32.txt file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Export -> Save as msinfo32.txt and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .txt file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

It works normally, but haven't been longer than 1 hour at a time in safemode, so I can't be sure if it's BSOD free.

I did have another WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL BSOD right after I logged in on this site.

The attachments will be a new zip from your Sevenforums Diagnostic tool and a picture of the BSOD which occured during boot after using verifier.exe (BSOD caused by sys-file from Daemon tools, which is odd, because it's active all the time, as a virtual BluRay Drive)

    That's very difficult to read

Anyway, can you tell me what antivirus you're using currently? or any multiple antiviruses?

Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

    • Click on the
    • Type CMD on Search
    • Left click and Run as Administrator
    • Type SFC /scannow

I use the pre-installed MCAfee security center (which I think is horrifying) I still have a couple of months of paid protection. Windows security essentials is also installed, and I frequently use Malwarebytes to scan my computer, but it has no realtime-virus protection, so it's only active when I run the program myself.

Yeah, the msinfo32 file is hard to read because it's in Dutch, as I stated in my original post. Sorry about that I wish I could let it compile in English.

I've done everything you asked me and SFC/scannow couldn't repair 1 thing: autochk.exe. I don't think this could be the origin of my BSOD, or is it?
Anyways, I'll attach the sfcdetails.txt to this message.

Please remove McAfee, it's a frequent cause to blue screens. Run SFC scan few more times see if it's able to repair the file. (Reboot every after it scans)

MSE and MBAM are a good combination. Although you can run the following tools from time to time:

Remove any sort of system optimizers or registry cleaners if you have them. (CCleaner is an exception).

Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using crystal disk info:

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

I will be away for the next few hours. (Different time zones)

I didn't have time today to remove McAfee or run the Disk Check, but I did make a screen shot of hard disk drive, atleast I think I did it right.
The C drive is where my Windows installation is on.

Was I supposed to hide my serial numbers?
