    BSOD happens so often (Updated)

    Hi all

My notebook is Benq Joybook R45 Windows 7 Pro 32bit

I have just upgraded to Win7 from Vista a few days ago, and there are so many errors happened.

First, it always black screens. But, I dunno why, suddenly, these days it becomes normal again, without any black screen.

However, another problem comes. it always blue screen. The error logs are shown as attachments. Please help me to have a look. What drivers should I update??

I dunno why how come I got so many problems after upgraded to win7

as attachment, the network adapter cannot be updated. after updated it, it will immediately BSOD

I know that reason of BSOD should be because of the network adapter, but what should i do? no matter i update the driver or not, it will also BSOD

Please never ever use any kind of driver updater, they will cause more damage than they will ever repair. Do a System Restore to revert back anything caused by such software.

Your Wireless driver appears to be the cause - Atheros Extensible Wireless LAN driver for CB42/CB43/MB42/MB43 Network Adapter/D-Link AirPlus DWL-G520 Wireless PCI Adapter(rev.B). It should be updated, download and install the latest version.

    Code:
Unable to load image athr.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for athr.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for athr.sys
    Code:
    BugCheck 1000007E, {c0000005, b0922ce8, 8a028acc, 8a0286b0}

    Probably caused by : athr.sys ( athr+105ce8 )
Update Atheros driver as suggested in the above post (see post #7)

    Uninstall Daemon Tools Pro:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\DAEMON Tools Pro
This program and drivers are well-known to cause BSODs and other crashes within Windows 7.

    Uninstall UniBlue Driver Scanner:

    Code:
    Start Menu\Programs\Uniblue\DriverScanner
These third-party driver updater programs (much like registry cleaners) tend to cause more problems and damage to the system than doing any good for the user.

Run System File Checker, which will check for any corrupted or missing Windows 7 files:

Run a full scan with Malwarebytes, and what AV program do you have installed?
