Random BSOD has occurred overnight and during gaming.

i just recently built a computer and its been running well except for the somewhat frequent randomly occur blue screens. i would say out of 10 times 7 were in the middle of the night causing me to start my computer to the lovely unexpected shutdown error when it booted up. The other 3 were during gaming either battlefield 3 or rage etc. i would love help it doesn't seem too serious because my computer starts up fine and seems to run well. With the exception of a bsod either once a day or not for a week. Happens randomly in my eyes

1.Scan your computer with Antivirus software.
2.Run chkdsk utility on your Laptop and fix file system errors.
3.Check for RAM is it working well or it is not working.
    4.Use a Registry cleaner.
    5.Do Disk Defragmentation.
