    Bsod id2057


    Hi All
    Just built a Windows 7 Professional on a custom build in the last 24 hrs
    Did a memtest86 its clear
    Crashes becoming sooner and sooner.
    Garbled Graphics at BIOS POST (not every time)

    Dud graphics card or not? or Drivers haven't a clue!

    Got the msinfo32 file too. Do BSODs usually happen in safe mode?
    Am selling this pc and will be only used for accounts sage program.
    just need the shutdowns sorted.

    Seems to be very stable in safe mode....can it still be a hardware issue?
    got the SF diags grab all for you need to get this computer out tomorrow.
    good forum here!
    btw its a totally clean system just with sage installed performance is great just BSOD thinking of over clocking it by 400 mhz...
    any help would be great guys!

    updated nvidia drivers it lasted longer , BSOD while installing msoffice 2003.

    BSOD - shuts down if in use


    need this computer in by this afternoon would love the help this morning in finding out whats wrong with it.
    Memtest ran again. no problems. although there is mismatched memory

    can someone please read my dmp files?

    Did you make sure all the parts are compatible with each other? Are you using any old hardware on this new built PC?

    thanks for replying koolkat77
    the computer build isn't exactly new most of the hardware dates back to 06/07

    2 things are relatively new is SATA 1TB HDD and dvdwriter (IDE)

    memory at 2.5gb but mismatched bus speeds. memtest shows clear though? would that still effect it.

    I do worry about the Graphics card as It showed 2 garbled lines at bios post..? its stopped now though it may come back? i Haven't got enough hardware for trial and error

    What the dmp file say?

    Try adjusting the bus speeds of the RAM.

    Update the video drivers:

    (Needs Java to run)

    For monitoring the heat/celsius of the system, use Speccy or HWinfo:
