Windows 7: Multiple BSODs 0x0000001E

For several days I have been experiencing BSODs at different times and in different programs. I have checked memory, drivers, Windows updates and tried a registry cleaner. The SF /Scannow shows all is well. So far crashes continue - I have attached the files that the SF Diagnostic pulled together and will appreciate any suggestions re something I have missed. Thanks in advance.

Your recent blue screens were caused by Product:VIPRE Anti-Rootkit Company:GFI Software Description:gfiark32.sys

Suggest to uninstall with the programs uninstaller and use Microsoft security essentials and the free MBAM to test. Make full scans with each separately.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

• Click on the
• Type CMD on Search
• Left click and Run as Administrator
• Type SFC /scannow

Run Disk Check on your hard disk for file system errors and bad sectors on it:

• Disk Check

Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.

• Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Finally got all the processes done and yes - that seems to have been the problem. Thanks... I have recently seen one other problem but the dump did not complete and it has not re-occured so I hope the reboot took care of it.... Thanks again.....

MSE is recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other antiviruses/internet security software:-

1. Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
2. Malwarebytes - Free
3. Good and Free system security combination.

Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.
