Driver_Power_State_Failure on entering Hibernation BSOD 0x0000009f I did look at some other similar threads to this but each had its own unique differences from the issue I'm having, so I started a new thread, I apologize if I missed something in another thread that would have helped me I hope to not be causing anyone to repeat their efforts here.
While the system suspends to hibernation occasionally it hangs part-way through and does actually power down, sometimes even getting very hot while it's sitting there. I've been unable to force this to happen so finding the exact cause of the hang has been a source of frustration for me. eventually the system will come up with a blue screen, always a Driver_Power_State_Failure but looking at the minidumps not always with the same parameters. I've noticed poor WiFi connectivity from this laptop and have had to disable/enable the adapter on several occasions to have it actually make a connection. This is a service work laptop that often has other peoples hardware attached to it so there's a strong possibility that some broken drivers are installed.
For reference this is an HP Pavilion dm4, with 4gb ram, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit installed, it was a 'refurbished' purchase less than a year ago and is covered by warranty, so if it's looking like a hardware issue I'll have to have the store of sale take over.
I've attached the zipped results of the SF Diagnostic Tool.
Also I apologize for the mediocre formatting of this post as I'm firing it off just before the end of my work day. I look forward to any support you can provide and hope to soon see the end of these BSODs. | My System Specs |

Also I would suggest to uninstall Spybot. And later I may suggest to uninstall another program, depending on the situation.

Thanks to both of you for your replies, I'm in the middle of downloading drivers now, I'll see if the wireless connection is more stable and hopefully I'll not see BSOD again. As I don't have any means to force the blue screen I'll just have to wait and see.. but your suggestions are directly in line with my concerns.
I intend to be back in the next few days with an update on how things went. Thanks again. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 64bit, Windows 7 32bit, Windows XP SP3 32bit, Various other OS' as needed for work. |

Well there have been no issues and a noticeable improvement in WiFi connection stability, I'm going to consider this solved at this point, and if any further issues arrive I'll mention it here.
