Sorry Frog, that I have lost your previous thread ... really sorry.

    it is caused by Avast.
    Code:
    fffff880`02d23918 fffff880`042399beUnable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\aswSnx.SYS, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswSnx.SYS
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswSnx.SYS
     aswSnx+0x69be
Description here: Driver Reference Table - aswSnx.SYS

Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility.
Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download and install those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

You need to preform some Disc checks, too.
    Code:
    fffff880`02d23ac8 fffff880`012139db Ntfs!NtfsCleanupIrpContext+0x12b
    fffff880`02d23a70 fffff880`01214c80 Ntfs!NtfsCommonCleanupCallout
    1. Update your SSD's Firmware (skip it, if it is not a SSD)
    2. Re-seat the sata and power.
    3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
    4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.

There may be some other issues, graphics related. At this situation, you first do these, and report us back with the results. And this time, I swear that I will not forget it. Even if I forget, you post one more time in this thread please.

    Thank you for your response.
I (think I) have done as you instructed
I will post again if problems continue.
And what is meant by "re-seat the sata and power"?
    Thank you again

    Hello again
The instructions you gave me seem to have stopped most of the BSODs (I think)
But a new one has occurred
And I worry it may point to a hardware problem.
    Thank you again

Sorry to say, but it is really a hardware problem.

    Alright
    Different BSOD again
This one seems to point towards my graphics driver
But (according to Intel Driver Update Utility) it is already up to date
Is this related to the hardware issue?
    Sorry for bothering you

    1. Right click on Computer icon > manage. It will open the computer management window.
    2. Click on "Device Manager" in the left pane, it will list all installed devices up.
    3. Expand "USB Serial Bus Controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
    4. Click on one item to select, then right click and uninstall.
    5. Do the same for all.
    6. Restart the computer.
    7. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate drivers.

And, Disable USB Selective Suspense too.
USB Selective Suspend - Turn On or Off

For the devices, first, detach all the USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
Then, Update the drivers for them all, including the keyboard and mouse, if any third party drivers are installed for them.

    Let us know the results.

It it continue to crash on the display driver, we may need to think otherwise.

Quick question, how do you update the ALPHA Networks Filter Driver?
I looked around their website but I can't seem to find it
And is a BIOS update absolutely necessary?
I don't trust my skill (of which there is none) to update it in case I do something wrong and completely screw up my system

About the alpha network driver, I am asking it to some driver expert.

Do everything else other than the BIOS update. If it is really needed, we will have a look at it at the last.
