This is a TDR116 error which is typically caused by your display driver or a defect in your RAM/GPU. The fact that it occurs randomly further points at a problem. The DirectX software system and Nvidia drivers were involved.
Firstly stop any overclocking if any, reinstall your Nvidia software package but make sure only the Display Driver and PhysX are selected, make a clean driver install.
