That's good to know, and any more BSODs recently?

Have you considered leaving the graphics card removed and see if you get any more crashes?

x BlueRobot / Dave76,

Well interestingly enough I was able to crash it without my video card. It froze on the BSOD so I doubt there are any dumps. I took a quick video of it for the codes (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION - 000003B) and because it was making a buzzing sound from the tower. I'm beginning to think Asus failed in their refurbish and that I need a new motherboard.

Also I attached a few pictures of my Bios for Dave's question about the voltages.

What PSU do you have?
Post the brand, model, watt rating and age.
Do you have or can borrow a known good PSU to test with?

Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.
How to Post a Screenshot in Seven Forums

You have to select 'Manual' for the BIOS voltage to show.
Post the CPU Voltage, CPU/NB Voltage and the DRAM Voltage.

Have you had any issues with "Cool'n'Quiet" before?

Dave76,

My PSU can be found at this link: Zumax X2 Series - ZU-500W. As of this November the PSU is now 3 years old.I don't have another PSU to use instead.

I attached updated snips of the CPU-Z images.

When I go to my BIOS voltages there is no manual tab. It only lets me choose auto or change the voltages in increments. I attached pictures of before and after. All settings are still set to auto.

Post the CPUZ snips, use the link in my last post to find out how.

If your BIOS doesn't show a voltage when you select 'Manual' then increase the voltage by the smallest amount, this should give you the current voltage setting. Post them here.

The PSU is midrange of a fairly unknown brand, not on any data bases I use for PSUs, so the quality is questionable.
The loud sound from your previous Zip file, may be coming from the PSU. Check it, if it makes that sound again. Definitely not a good sound, PSU or motherboard warning, or failing.

Dave76,

Here's the snips. The voltages only increase by 0.8000. As soon as I increase it the voltage is 0.8000, then 0.16000, ect. I attached pictures of this also.

Your motherboard doesn't support running 3 RAM cards.
First, let's try changing a couple voltage settings.
Leave 'CPU Voltage' on Auto
Change, key in, CPU/NB Voltage 1.250v
Change, key in, DRAM Voltage 1.600v
Test for stability.

If your system isn't stable with these voltages, return the two above voltages to 'Auto'.
Remove one RAM card, leaving two cards in the Orange slots.
Test for stability.

Dave76,

Well that is certainly interesting to hear. I changed the voltages and didn't crash in the short time I had. I will test the stability all day tomorrow and let you know. Is it because the memory says dual channel that means it doesn't support three sticks?
