Welcome
Your problem is McAfee Code: Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Public:Start Menu\Programs\McAfee Public McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD crashes, consider uninstalling it with the McAfee Removal Tool and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials at least to test. Recommended antivirus program for Windows 7 based on stability compared to others:- Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.
Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.
Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed. Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible: - Click on the
 - Type CMD on Search
- Left click and Run as Administrator
- Type SFC /scannow

Pop up with some error during SFC scanning Hello Administrator,
Thank you so much for your kindness. I have done what you said in the post. I got some error while doing the last step :: system file checker
In the command prompt, I typed : sfc /sfcscannow
Only 64% completed and stopped with throwing some info :
"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation "
And next, I tried the command : sfc /scanverifyonly
This time, it completed that with 100 percent by not throwing any error at all.
To Add : I ran full scan thro. Microsoft Essentials, 100 percent successfully scanned. No threat detected.
Please help me What I want to do now?
Note ::
1.CBS Log file attached
2.After removal of Maccafee Anti-virus software using Maccafe removal, still I didn't regain or am not installed in the computer again. Is that cause for the error completion of scanning? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 64 bit Home Basic |

There are three major causes of the SFC scan not working properly
1) file corruption
2) disk problems.
3) a pending install.
Let's check for the first two.... Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories Right-click on the Command Prompt entry Select Run as Administrator and accept the UAC prompt - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up. At the Command prompt, type CHKDSK C: /R and hit the Enter key. You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot. The CHKDSK will take a few hours depending on the size of the drive, so be patient! After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally (possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFC /SCANNOWagain and post a new MGADiag report. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus K52F OS Win 7 x64 Home Premium (and x86 VirtualBox VM) CPU i3 370M Motherboard Asus Memory 8GB - finally :) Graphics Card it's an i3, dude! Hello Administrators,
Thanks for your support. Maybe, I hope my problem is solved. Yesterday, I downloaded a video file through torrent. this time no blue screen.really am impress with ur support.
This message to NoelDP.
I scanned my PC after bootup. While scanning, three places it found a bad sector and recovered on its own. After scanning, I tried sfc /scannow. 100% scan completed successfully also throw some info "Window Resource Protection cannot find a solution to the cluster problem". Now, my question is :: can I leave it as it with this working condition or should I do anything more safety measures ?"
And one more,Is Microsoft Security Essentials enough for protecting my PC from Virus?
Thanks in advance. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 64 bit Home Basic |

Thanks in advance. Did you go through these: Malwarebytes and MSE are good enough.
If you want to scan better for viruses you can use Windows Defender Offline from time to time: Make scans with these tools as well:

Thanks in advance. This is a serious error - I recommend that you back up all data to external media NOW, since it means that the hard drive may be about to die.
Please open Event Viewer and look in the Windows log\Application for the Wininit event that details your CHKDSK run double-click on it, and press the Copy button on the resulting popup - paste it into your reply.
MSE is irrelevant if your hard drive is failing, but yes, in general MSE is quite sufficient for the vast majority of users. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Asus K52F OS Win 7 x64 Home Premium (and x86 VirtualBox VM) CPU i3 370M Motherboard Asus Memory 8GB - finally :) Graphics Card it's an i3, dude!
