Computer shuting down in stead of restarting..

    Hello.
I have made a task to restart everyday at 06:30.
The lid is always close and the computer wont sleep for that, but when I wake up I went to the computer and the computer was off... I am using .../shutdown.exe /r /t 15 in a batch file, so the tasks starts the batch file...

    Please help me. :)

    The best regards,
    Daniel

Now for straters here is the drivers dowmload in case they are neeeded.

May I ask why are you using a batch file to execute the start up each day? when you could hibernate it until you want to get going again. My only thought is that you have some set function to start at that particular time?

Like, I am running a server in that computer, tf2 server. The server closes at 05:00. At 05:00 a batch file is launched to kill the task srcds.exe (server). At 05:05 ASC cleans the computer, the asc is ready at 05:35. At 05:35 another script checks for updates to the server, with some time to download updates and install them automatically. At 06:30 the script .../shutdown.exe /r /t 01 is started to restart the computer, the problem is that the RESTART function is like not working, when I click on the restart button, the computer restarts normal, with 0 problems. At 07:00 server is launched. But the restart thing is not working... Any suggestions in what I could do?

Ah now I am at a disadvantage now daalpadu as I have no experience with servers I'm afraid my friend thats a bit out of my league.

But I do see what you are trying to do.

The only thing I cna suggest is if you haven't already do some scans for malware. The tow I would run are Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

    Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download

See if they come up with anything, - sorry but as I said a bit out of my league.

But let us know what comes up if anything.
