Brand New PC Crashing Once A Day Mostly 5min After StartUp !
Hi Folks
I'm afraid my first post here is a cry for help but hopefully things will improve.
I bought a new PC over a month ago to replace an aged Medion machine. During the first week of use I reckon I suffered maybe 30 BSOD's so back it went to the shop. The shop had never seen anything like it and had them stumped but after a week I got it back and booted it up straight into a BSOD (Dear Lord Give Me Strength To Carry On). However, now I only get one maybe two crashes a day which is a big improvement but nonetheless frustrating for a brand new PC. I have done a fair bit of research myself and before returning it ran Memtest which did throw up errors but I have not run it since. WhoCrashed says it is a driver problem but isn't specific. I found out last night the CPU doesn't appear in the list supported by the motherboard and this was after flashing to the latest version of the BIOS (crashed 5mins after booting this morning -my hopeful yet hopeless test).
I am hoping there is an expert who can analyse the files and tell me if I have a driver conflict or old driver as it is driving me potty. I have upgraded AMD drivers, Realtek drivers all to no apparent avail and this is me at my limit.
Any help you can give would be very gratefully appreciated.
PS. In closing for some strange reason after the first crash of the day the PC doesn't stall again but almost without fail we get our one a day (and close to startup / the settling down period as I call it)
Cheers
