Yep the dust has been cleared from case! Which is an interesting point since let say i over looked that little scenario of dust on internal system for lets say .... a few years... till performance really got bad! i finally opened it up this year to see like centimetres of dust on everything! no wonder at the time the card was clocking over 100 C! lol so yes dust has been cleared, but i think there might have been some permenant damage ..

and along those line tis why i upgraded my OS since i was looking to get some more RAM card and possibly get a new graphics card.

what would you suggest?

What size is your Power supply? Dell typically uses very low PSU's and that will be the limiting factor on a new graphics card.

Here's a few in the $125-$500 range.
Newegg.com - Computer Hardware, Video Cards & Video Devices, Desktop Graphics Cards, PCI Express 2.0 x16, GeForce GTX 500 series

As essenbe says, check the minimum PSU requirement.
