It still locked up with sli bridge gone. Trying it with 1 ram stick now. If it's still an issue the only thing I can think of is the hdd. I ran a disk check and it came back fine.

Alright well it was either my graphics card or my a RAM stick, because I removed my bottom sli card and tried another stick and it worked fine. Thinking its my card but can't be too sure. At least now I know where to look.

I Googled and came up with numerous threads, Try unplugging all sata cables and re-attaching same. Here is a link to just one thread but I would do your own search and read up...I think it will be something simple but it could take some investigation and reading plus trial and error....stay with it. Good news is the safe mode operation.

Well I removed the bottom graphics card and reinstalled all the RAM and I am running smoothly now. Sucks that I have to reinstall everything. I am going to try and get the card running properly again if I can and I will read up those articles. Maybe the 310.64 driver messed something up. Anyways if I can't get it running I may jump up to a 660. Thanks for the help guys, going to run memtest when I get a chance to verify that all of my RAM if still good.

Good but sorry it looks to be a hardware issue, likely not ram but worth testing. Maybe you can play with a previous driver and get your SLi back?

That's what I am thinking but it wouldn't explain why it wouldn't install windows, the nvidia drivers aren't present that early on. I have had the card for a year and a hal or two years, never ran hot, its a galaxy super oc, both are in sli oced to 810 core 1800 memory

Will do, so far it is faulty hardware, but if I rollback the driver and it works then it is a known driver issue.
