Do you have any external hard drive to store all your important data?

Your HDD is about to fail, and it may stop working any time.

After securing all your data, full format the HDD using Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command, make the partitions again, and then reinstall windows, use CrystalDisc Info to see the SMART status again.

If it still gives the red alert, you need to replace the HDD, positively.

You may also want to check if your Power Supply is functioning correctly and giving the right amount of power to all hardware parts.

it told me to do the DOS version to repair bad sectors and have new errors everytime I tried to scan long or short. should I put the sshd into a different laptop and do the DOS from cd?

and also, since this is a new sshd, could it be something I did or is it moire than likely faulty?

thanks,
Troy

alright im gonna swap hdd out with a different laptop and try it, i just didnt know because it ran so fast and perfect then i had to buy a new power supply but i didnt go cheap on it, and the night i first used the power supply is when it messed up for the first time. But it was also in my bag for a while being lightly tossed around.

Thanks ill post when i get results,
Troy
