I have very recently begun to get a lot of these BSODs on my desktop the system was running fine till a few days ago but now i get regular crashes.
I had installed a new WD 1TB hdd into the system a month back but it had worked fine uptill now.
Do you use any antivirus?
Please do the following first:
Make scans with the following:
-Kaspersky TDSSKiller
-ESET online scanner
MSE is recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability compared to other antiviruses/internet security software:-
1. Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows
2. Malwarebytes - Free
3. Good and Free system security combination.Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.
Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.
Nothing found on the root kit or the antivirus scan
