Unmountable Boot Drive BSOD + Windows 7 "Repair Your Computer" problem

When booting with the option "Don't auto restart on system failure", I get a BSOD telling me of an Unmountable Boot Drive. I tried using the "Repair Your Computer" option with the Windows 7 installation disk, but after selecting my language and clicking "Repair Your Computer", the GUI disappears and I'm left with the default Win7 background and a mouse cursor...

I tried using the "Repair Your Computer" from a Windows 7 Installation disk. After selecting the language and pressing the "Repair Your Computer" button, all I get is a Windows 7 background with a mouse pointer.

I also downloaded a "Windows 7 Repair Disk" from here. I booted from the repair disk and I'm still getting a Windows 7 background with mouse cursor...

    How old is your computer?

Have you checked if any of the hardware components is failing? Physically?

Is this a HDD or SSD?

Do you have another hard drive?
