Click advanced when displaying TEMP folder permissions. Now delete all users listed there. And put a check mark at "inhert permission..." click OK a few times. Now check permissions and post screenshot of advanced

then start acrobat pro so problem occurs. Look at the properties again and post screenshot as well

All files are still in temp folder, so it's not recreated by acrobat?

    • What version of Acrobat PRO?
    • Why do you use it?
I can't find anything on google refering to this issue. You bought acrobat pro so you have support. Post the issue on adobe forum or support.

Ok, image 1 is after I have deleted all the users and checked 'inhert permission...'

Image 2 shows straight after I use acrobat pro

All the same files are still in the temp folder yes.

Also I have acrobat pro on another laptop but never used it, I just tried now and created the exact same problem, the temp folders permissions changed and I was unable to install msi's

Image 1 is as it's normal. No explicit permissions... just inherited From C:\USERS\<yourname>

What version of ACROBAT PRO?? Where do you use it for?

As you know now... ACROBAT PRO causes the problem. And it's not only on your computer! So definitely an ACROBAT PRO problem. I hope it didn't change permissions or other stupid thing on other folders. Strange I can't find it on google.

Do you update acrobat pro automatically (check for updates)?

Yea its updated etc. I can't seem to find anything relating to the problem either, which is strange, although I suppose it was by careful monitoring i figured out it was caused by acrobat.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't change any other folders as I don't seem to have any other problems.
