Do you have an additional cooling pad for the laptop?
And how old is it? Warranty status?

OK, get one if possible. Also post your specs please. Your laptop model/make.
  1. Click on User CP on the top right of this page
  2. Click on Edit System Spec
  3. Fill in your computer specs
Have you ever dismantled and cleared the dust inside the laptop?

Check videos on youtube on how to do that.

Post specs please.

Maybe you can ask a friend to help you with opening the case.

Which browser do you use? Try disabling hardware acceleration.

That's long. Are you willing to do one now?

If yes, link to the tutorial is here:After the clean install make sure you have the latest and Chipset/MB drivers, Video drivers, sound card drivers etc. Do not install any non essential programs.

For older hardware sometimes lowering the clock of the GPU (or hardware component) helps.

BTW, have you performed hard drive and memory tests?

I have had 107 BSOD's the last two months, and when I sent the computer into the shop to get fixed up, the only diagnoses the geniuses had was that there was nothing wrong with the computer. This Gateway SX2850-33 was bought in mid-December and has been crashing since April 12th. I have looked...
