It is almost sure that your hardware is failing.
Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark
Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95
The CPU tested fine after 2 hours, temps were steady at 75C under 100% load.
0 errors after 121 minutes and 120 tests on each 8 logical CPUs.
The FurMark also passed, 15 minutes, stable at 70C with no artifacts.
I haven't done memtest again, yet, as I did it a few days ago, but will do it again tonight.

I goofed... somehow I left Driver Verifier on just for the Nvidia drivers, though I don't remember doing so. Everything is going swimmingly as of now, thanks! :)

Okay! So, only one crash since my recent blunder, which is a HUGE improvement over previously. And I double checked, verifier is off
Is it still a GPU/driver issue? If so, what other driver version would you recommend trying?
Or would reinstalling the Intel HD 4000 driver then reinstalling 306.23 Nvidia driver help?
Also, I am getting somewhat frequent screen freezes when editing/watching a video and playing a game. Editing with Premiere Elements 10 installed again, and watching videos with Windows Media Player and from YouTube on Safari.

Post #21, at the top of the page, you mentioned that the RAM could be getting hot and causing the crashes, could that be an issue with my system as well?
I'm rendering a 1920x1080 HD video( 90-100% CPU utilization), and I have Minecraft open(GPU utilization is at 98% consistently), which is about the most intensive thing my laptop does.

Also, I just noticed this, and it could be completely unrelated, but is incredibly annoying as well.
some of my windows are flickering (Task Manager, Wireless Network Connection Status, Premiere Elements, and any time I right click on a file or on the desktop). Thought I would throw that out there just in case it helps.

Scan the system for possible virus infection. I know that it is a clean reinstall, but it is needed, I think.
Also, uninstall Microsoft Security essentials. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Then, install a fresh downloaded copy of Microsoft Security Essentials
Download, install and update it, and then run full system scan with it, too.
