HP Update - Bad Pool -BSOD

    Hi All,

    HP Photosmart All-in-One Printer C6180
    Windows 7 - Home Premium, SP1 - 64bit

Installed current HP software/drivers for printer on new computer with no errors or problems. Printer has been working fine. However, I tried to use the scanner today and multiple errors. Critical updates suggested a fix:

    CPE_SCAN_DESTINATION_UPDATE_hpcom_001_003.exe
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=oj-79942-3&cc=ca&dlc=en&lc=en&...=

On re-boot my system crashed BSOD.

Does Windows 7 keep the Kernel memory dump files/logs (it's configured to do so). If so where?

    Thanks, ms:)

    Hi All,

Never did find the Kernal dump file!

In the end, I had to buy a new HP printer. Any of the updates or fixes would crash my system.

    Thanks, katy
