BSOD after recent Windows Updates, error 0x0000006b
Hello!
I am currently facing a really annoying problem with a bsod occurring when booting the system.
This bsod comes after I installed the following bunch updates provided by Windows Update:
Office 2010:
(KB982726) 32-Bit-Edition
(KB2687501) 32-Bit-Edition
(KB2687510) 32-Bit-Edition
(KB2760410) 32-Bit-Edition
(KB2598242) 32-Bit-Edition
Windows 7
(KB2761465)
(KB2753842)
(KB2758857)
(KB2770660)
(KB2779030)
(KB2779562)
(KB890830)
After installations finishes I do the recommended reboot, systems boots fine. If I would again do another reboot, also everything fine.
Now the system runs for some hours then I do shutdown for the next day. Then on the next day the bsod comes up. I can reproduce this problem many times.
What I tried:
Check drivers up2date
memtest86
Did chkdsk c: /F /R
Check cabling of drives
Changed Sata Cables
Checked BIOS Updates
Did Virus scan wih several Scanners and Anti Malware products, no results found
Even removed my Norton AV
Deleted bootcache file, restored it back, no fix
Did SFC/SCANNOW which tells me that there is a file damaged but can't be repaired. If i do SFC/SCANNOW again in Windows RE it tells me that there is an outstanding reapir. Tried this several times. Same results always from SFC.
I also attached the CBS.log .
Workaround for me is using startup repair and skipping the windows updates.
But somehow I would like to find a solution, I do not really like reinstalling everytime such windows trouble comes up.
As I can see this topic is not new but checking the recent posts I did not find a fix for me. Did all that standard bsod troubleshooting w/o results.
Is this maybe Microsoft way to tell there customers to move to Windows 8
Maybe you guys found a solution to fix it?
