I've requested a friend to check the cbs file.
You should get a reply in a couple of hours.

In that between you should test the ram sticks in the way mentioned above.

The only problem with doing a repair install is that I have done a complete wipe and fresh install and it didnt work, so I am hesitant to do it right now. Once I find the issue, I will want to wipe the machine and start over, but until then I would rather not.
Which install media did you use to install win 7 ,you might try to download appropriate win 7 install image from digital river and install win 7 from it,
    refere to this link
All win 7 images are official and legal from microsoft, you will require your win 7 key andneed to activate it.

Also wait for koolkat77's response as their might be another reason for this problem.

There's no obvious remaining problems in the CBS.log - SFC appears to have fixed the one error it found.

How many sticks of ram do you have?
Have you uninstalled the programs listed in my post #6?

    How old is your computer?
    Warranty status?

    1. Click on User CP on the top right of this page
    2. Click on Edit System Spec
    3. Fill in your computer specs

I have 4 sticks of RAM, 4GB each.

Yes, I uninstalled all of the apps you mentioned except Hamachi which I need for work.

My computer is about a year old. I have individual warranties on components, but it was a self assembled computer.

I updated my system specs in User CP like you mentioned.

Thank you for your fast responses and great help. I really appreciate it.
