Computer not getting past windows logo anymore.

Recently I was just browsing the internet and my HP Pavillion p7-1074 got a blue screen of death. It flashed away very quickly so I didn't get to notice the error code. Then I tried to turn the computer back on and it wouldn't get past the windows logo. I tried booting it in windows recovery mode and safe mode, but those didn't work either. How do I fix this? I would prefer to not lose any files if possible or even just be able to recover certain files.

    8 GB DDR3 System Memory
    ATI Radeon HD 4200

It is not booting in safe mode too?

Do you have access to another computer right now, if so, Download it, and burn in a disc or make USB Flash stick ready for it.

Then perform a full scan using it.

BTW, do you have the windows installer disc?

I'll try that. I don't have a windows installer disk, but I do have access to another computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, like the broken one.

After trying Windows Defender Offline, if the situation remains the same, you may need to download the windows installer from this source.

I made a windows defender cd and went to BIOS options. I selected boot from CD drive and it said "Press any key to boot from cd drive." After I pressed a key the computer started and has been making a whriling noise as if it were writing to the disc and the screen is the monocolor blue windows logo with the windows 8 loading dots. There is other indication that a scan is running, but I will let it run for a while unless told to do otherwise.

Edit: Now it says "Windows Defender cannot be started. Please contact support. Error Code: 0x800703f9

Download the windows 7 home premium 64 bit iso from the link I provided in the other link, and burn it in a blank disc.

We will try to recover the data first.

Let me know when it is done.
