As for the voltage, I'm not really an expert, so I don't want to mess with that xD, but I do have MSI afterburner and it says that the voltage is currently at 987.
Yeah, that sounds pretty low, mine is at 1.012, so that should still be well in the safe limits, afaik you can't really raise it too much with inspector, the max is 1.150

But anyhoo... with my voltage and clocks the GPU temperature stays under 80c at full load, so it's far from "too high".

Hmmmm....I might actually go for it. What's considered to be a safe voltage? it's 987v now.

I wouldn't go past 1.1, but then again i'm always too gentle with my components :P Go up by one increment at a time and run furmark or something to see if it's stable and not overheating, anything higher than 85c after 10mins under full load would be too high imho.

Btw, have you tried updating your mobo's bios? I gotta say it really did solve a lot of issues after I updated the BIOS, so if you haven't done that, you might wanna give it a try.

Just did it a few hours ago, as i mentioned in an earlier post, latest version is only little over a month old, came out in November this year. Cant really tell if it made any difference yet. And yeah last time i flashed my bios few months ago cause AHCI mode wasn't working properly. Anyway, i'm off to bed, i'll update the situation in a few days after i do some test to see if the chipset and bios update made any difference.

Well it's been over two weeks and not a single crash, guess i'll mark this "Solved" then.
