So wait for more BSOD's and see if they narrow things down?

I think I'll try leaving my pc on 24/7 to see if I can't encourage one to happen on the desktop, since that, and browsing, seem to be when they usually occur.

Yeah, hopefully they will point out something more informative, corrupted or 'buggy' drivers usually tend to manage to escape when Windows is gathering information about the crash and blame a Windows driver instead.

Just checking in. Its been just over 2 weeks since my last bluescreen. That's promising I guess, but I'm reluctant to trust that anything is fixed. When I had BSOD's before (back when I fixed it), they would happily go three or four weeks without a BSOD for no clear reason.

I've been using my pc as normal, trying to leave it on quite a bit to increase the chances I'll get a BSOD.
Still, it is promising. Though I do seem to be unlucky when it comes to Bluescreens.

That's good news, maybe you'll be lucky this time and no BSODs will occur

It's been over a month since my last BSOD. And since I usually get a handful every week, I have to assume the problem has been fixed, or fixed itself possibly. Thank you for all your help.

So I'll go ahead and mark this thread as solved. and hopefully I won't be coming back soon!

All the best,
Dan.

Hello! I've been here before with almost the same system as last time. This time I have a new GPU, and I swapped because I had a BSOD-free month or so and so I didn't think it would be a problem as I thought my "home cures" had worked. So I reinstalled windows to clean my computer from trash...
