BSOD / Driver failure in video games 0x000000C4

Got an issue that I need help on,
I have a fairly recent install of windows 7 professional x64 and I am getting BSOD's and driver failures.

I will be playing a video game (any game) and I will get some artifacting for a few seconds then the monitor refreshes and the game continues with slightly messed up graphics. Once the artifacting happens a few more times It will BSOD or I end the process.

usually the error is 0x000000C4 but occasionally other errors. I did re-seat the graphics card and RAM and that held off the BSOD's for about 24 hours.

I don't think it is the card as it is less than six months old and the occurance of the problem is random, and from what I can read from the logs, it is nvidia and direct X related.

Multiple graphics driver re-installs have not fixed it, nor has a system restore.

I tried to upload the .dmp file but it wouldn't let me so it is in a .zip

Currently running the most up to date WHQL driver available (306.97), I did try updating to 310.07 -BETA but it did not help at all. Still, I will update to 310.70 -BETA again and see what happens this time around.

Don`t update to beta version as there are chances of the driver being unstable in some cases.

I cannot update any more, I am running 306.97 which is the most current stable driver. That crash log and almost all the BSOD's occured while running nvidia's most current driver.

next time this occur's i'll disable one of the antiviruses, I should point out that since creating this thread, the error/BSOD has not happened yet (I don't know why it hasn't).

One tip that I can give you is

    uninstall both of the antivirus

    use

Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

MSE is the antivirus which integrates best with windows 7.
