BSOD after installing ATI Radeon 6850 HD Driver error 0x00000116

My computer BSOD's on restart right before login screen after I install the video driver.

I have done this several times, using last known good configuration to get it running again.

Usually it just goes from a black screen to blue, but on my last attempt it showed the login screen with black horizontal lines and then it bsod'd.

I have uploaded any information that I think may be useful in the attached files.

    Welcome to SevenForums.

There are no .dmp files in the attachment. Please go through this tutorial and configure for small memory dumps: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

Please go through this thread: STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

I went through the link given, but to no avail, I also now have Win7 SP1 installed.

I however now have a new problem, my gpu does not show up under display drivers I have tried uninstalling "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" under the display tab in device manager, but when I reboot it just re-installs the VGA again and is now currently just disabled.

I also have a newer dmp file with the BSOD after sp1.
