    Well thanks for walking me through this.
    I assume you've also encountered this phenomenon with driver verifier in this thread as you've just posted there?

    I suppose I'll try a fresh install on another partition sometime soon.

    UPDATE: I have reinstalled windows, but there is still artifacting. I shall wait for a BSOD.
